SWISS WORDS - German of the Word


In celebration of the first time that I made homemade hamburgers, I decided to immortalise this event with a blog post. There is not much of a recipe to share so I decided it best to share this news as part of a new German Word of the Day. But as German for Hamburger is Hamburger, I took it a step further to share that Hackfleisch = Mincemeat.

(And just in case you want my mini recipe: mincemeat + salt + pepper + garlic powder + cayenne pepper + oregano + chopped onion). You can also add bread cumbs but I gave these a miss so they are "carb-free" or rather I was too lazy to make bread crumbs.
