I am not a soup eater, or maker for that matter; so to save my 12 Days of Christmas Swan soup turrne from a life of being shelved, I decided to transform it into something very useful - a planter!
The swan now takes pride position in my Coffee Corner filled with orchids that I bought from Migros. What is interesting about this little planting exercise is that Migros had plain white planter pots with three orchid plants inside for the special price of 50chf. I on the other hand bought their single unpotted plants for 7,50chf each and placed them inside my soup tureen for less than half the price.
